Mineral Industrial Policy

This course deals with the economics and market forces of various branches of the mineral and metals industry. The influence of technical, social, political and strategic factors are discussed and the market aspects of various commodity metals including copper, tin, gold and silver together with metals such as nickel, cobalt, zinc and aluminum are examined. The methods used to market various minerals and metals are studied and factors influencing price, demand and supply are examined. (lec 3) cr 3.
