Biography
My current research grew from an ongoing project investigating Indigenous writing and networks of literacies before 1867 in northeast Turtle Island begun with Alan Corbiere (CRC History, York University) and Thomas Peace (History, Huron University College Western). This work includes the compilation of a bibliography of creators and texts to contribute to the process of accessibility and restoration; and collaborative projects in digital humanities with the Canadian Writers Research Collaboratory (CWRC); and “Indigenous Approaches to the Western Literary and Visual Canon” New Frontiers-Exploration, PI Lauren Beck, CRC in Intercultural Encounter, Mount Allison University.
